Denis Lavialle was born around Paris in 1957. This self-educated-man lives since more than 30 years in the countryside of "Périgord Noir" between Sarlat and Montignac. He's a nature lover, always in search of discovery and creation. During a trip to marocco, he discovers the art of mosaïc. This ancien art helps him to catch and capture his furtive visions, dreams ideas, drawn upon the world and expecially upon his "imaginary galaxy".
His work is distinguished thanks to thined lines and curves. the artist tries to banish all kind of conventional shapes. He likes to work with original and surprising shapes, especially when he creates mirors. For him, nothing is all ring or all square...
